steel plate protective cover

Core definition: A rigid protective structure made of steel plates through stamping, bending, and welding, mainly used to isolate the moving parts of machine tools (such as guide rails and screws) from the external environment, prevent chip and coolant erosion, and personnel safety risks.

Material and Craftsmanship:

Main materials: Q235 carbon steel, 304 stainless steel (suitable for corrosive environments), plate thickness 2-5mm (adjusted according to protection strength requirements).

Processing technology: CNC stamping (hole accuracy ± 0.1mm), bending (angle tolerance ± 0.5 °), welding (argon arc welding/spot welding), surface galvanized, sprayed or chrome plated (salt spray test ≥ 48 hours).

Structural design: Multi section telescopic (2-8 sections), with a pitch of 50-200mm, equipped with a slider type guide mechanism (stamped steel slider+wear-resistant nylon lining strip), with a telescopic stroke of up to 3000mm.

Core definition: A telescopic protective device made of a composite of flexible fabric and metal skeleton, which has the functions of dust prevention, water resistance, and oil resistance, and is suitable for complex motion trajectories (such as swinging and multi-directional extension).

Material and Craftsmanship:

Fabric materials: PVC coated fabric (basic version), nylon fabric (wear-resistant version), stainless steel wire reinforced fabric (high temperature version, temperature resistance ≤ 300 ℃).

Skeleton structure: Cold rolled steel plate stamped support plates (thickness 0.3-0.5mm) with a spacing of 20-50mm to ensure that they do not collapse during expansion and contraction.

Connection method: heat sealing welding (fabric seam)+rivet fixation (skeleton and fabric), with installation flanges (stamped steel plate or aluminum alloy) at the ends.

Core definition: Also known as engineering plastic drag chain, it is composed of reinforced nylon injection molded modular chain links, used to store and protect machine tool cables, oil pipes, and air pipes, avoiding entanglement and wear during movement.

Material and Craftsmanship:

Main materials: reinforced nylon 66 (with 15-30% glass fiber added), nylon PA6 (economical type), and some high-end models with flame retardant (UL94 V-0 grade) added.

Processing technology: Injection molding (with a dimensional tolerance of ± 0.2mm), the chain link is equipped with a snap on connection structure, which can be quickly disassembled (for easy cable maintenance).

Structural design: Bridge type (with an openable top cover), fully enclosed (dust-proof and waterproof), with an inner height of 10-150mm, an inner width of 10-300mm, a single section length of 25-50mm, and unlimited splicing.

Steel drag chain

Core definition: A heavy-duty cable protection drag chain made of steel plates through stamping, bending, and assembly, with higher load-bearing capacity and impact resistance, suitable for cable management needs under harsh working conditions.

Material and Craftsmanship:

Main materials: Q235 carbon steel, 304 stainless steel, plate thickness 1-3mm (adjusted according to load-bearing requirements).

Processing technology: CNC stamping (chain link hole accuracy ± 0.1mm), bending forming, surface galvanized and spray treated (anti-corrosion), and pin shaft connection between chain links (stamped steel pin shaft+nylon liner to reduce wear).

Structural design: Bridge type, fully enclosed, with an inner height of 20-200mm, inner width of 20-400mm, and a single section length of 30-100mm. It can be equipped with separators (stamped steel plates) for cable classification and storage.
